I believe i recorded these with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun. They are long car bys on a quiet road. Lots of distance to my left and right so you get some nice long singular car bys. Maybe one or two instances with a multi car pass. The roads were wet when this recording was done.

Recorded in germany, magdeburg out of a window on the third floor at afternoon. Some people talking, birds are tweeting and a bus is driving by. Sorry for mp3.

Recorded on 27/03/2010 at approx. 5pm outside albert park, melbourne, during the qualifying rounds for the australian grand prix. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround with a windshield. File has not been modified, only cut short from a longer recording.

Busy boulevard with traffic running both ways. One direction is crossed with an air hose designed to count the number of passing vehicles. You hear the tires slapping across it as they speed by.

Recorded at kingston foreshore at lake burley griffen in canberra on a windy day - people walking and riding past, peak hour traffic going over the bridge, some birds noises and a black swan approaches at the end to get some food.

This is a recording of michigan avenue in chicago from an interior perspective made from the 24th floor facing west. The microphones were spaced apart and placed very close to the window. Interior ventilation/air conditioning rumble is audible. This could be a useful sound for a downtown city office background. Time of recording was 3:05pm. The microphones are facing across the street to the el tracks which cross diagonally across the block at this point. The curvature of the tracks causes the squeaking of the wheels. Trains heading into the loop (north) tend to travel more slowly than those heading south. Cars accumulate at the intersection of harrison and wabash to the south (left). Time of recording was 5:41pm. A slightly busy street in front of the ecuadorean embassy in london. There are sounds of passing vehicles and inaudible voices of people speaking at a distance. The audio is in mono.

I needed the sound effect for a car arriving. These were recorded in my driveway. 2011 honda element, waliking to car, starting it, backing down driveway, driving back up driveway, stopping car and walking away. Recorded using the internal mics of a zoom h2n. Recorded was on a tripod about three feet from car. These sounds were originally used in a performance of vanya, and masha, and sonia and spike.
